We had another busy week of learning last week. Students were engaged in rich learning tasks across all curriculum areas and spent a great deal of time reflecting on the how much the many men and women serving in our military gave up in order for us to have freedom. As well, students were working hard to give away "Gifts of Love" to their neighbours and were excited to share when they had received a gift of love. Our Catholic Community is blossoming in 3A and 3B. We are so grateful to be witnesses to God's love in action! Religion: This week students will hear the Gospel from Sunday about a widow who gave as much as she could to the temple. Students will think about ways in which they can give to help others in need. We will explore the Rosary and its history and purpose through some rich inquiry questions and guided learning conversations.
