Religion Students will hear the Gospel from Sunday about John the Baptist.We are all called to be like John by being the Good News. We will finish learning about family commitments and how we can be God's Branches like Sister Ann Marshall and Jean Vanier. St. Cecilia's Family BBQ The BBQ was a huge success. The weather was amazing. Thank you to all those who volunteered their time to make our BBQ outstanding. This week your child will be taking home all of their belongings. If possible your child should bring in a reusable bag and leave it in their knapsack just in case what they have is too big for their knapsack. Lastly, but most important, we'd like to take the opportunity to thank you all for the support you've given us this year. It has been our pleasure to watch your child blossom and grow. It is hard to believe that the month of June is here! Students worked extremely hard throughout EQAO showing all of their knowledge in Literacy and Math! They truly did shine and we are so proud of them for the excellent effort they put into showing what they know. Religion/Fully Alive: This week students will hear the Gospel reading from this past Sunday where we celebrated the Body and Blood of Jesus and how it nourishes our spirit each time we receive it. We will also begin our Unit Three- Created Sexual- Male and Female. If you have not read and signed the note sent home last week, please be sure to do so, so that you are aware of the content that we will be covering in this unit.
