This week the afternoons will be spent reviewing math and literacy concepts taught throughout the year. We will also focus on Music, Drama, Health and Science during the blocks we are not writing EQAO.
The month of May is upon us! Our journey of learning continues. This week we celebrate Catholic Education Week! We look forward to seeing you at our Open House on Tuesday, May 6th between 8AM and 9AM. During this time your child will show you their learning environment, present some of their work to you and walk you through some grade three learning tasks! We are "Joyful Disciples of Jesus!" Religion: Last week students explored why we need the Holy Spirit and discovered that the Holy Spirit is there to guide us and help us to serve God and each other. Students learned that when we use the Gifts of the Holy Spirit we experience the Fruits of the Holy Spirit! Students also reflected on ways that they show that they are joyful disciples. This week students will hear the Gospel from this past Sunday, where Jesus asks Peter if he loves him. Students will write about the ways in which they can show Jesus that they love him!
